HOME HEALTH ASSISTANT (OVERNIGHT )

 

Ideal applicant would have experience in caring for the elderly.  Available several days per week, including weekends (2 to 4 shifts per week, up to 10 hours per shift).

Preference for Applicants living close by,  in zip codes 78232, 78216, or 78247. 

 

 

Tasks

Most important is handling bathroom guidance for one person.

Other overnight tasks are few and light, perhaps giving a non-prescription pill or a drink.

Time required for tasks is about 1/3 of total time during shift. i.e. 3 hours out of a nine hour shift.  Remainder of time can be used for naps, reading, social networks, studying, maintenance of online business, etc., so long as required duties are maintained.

 

Pay is in line with amounts received by contract employees in this field.   Since the wages are being paid by persons on fixed incomes, there is very little upward flexibility.  There is a small shift increase for the night shift.  (Total - $8.50 per hour).

 

HOME HEALTH ASSISTANT (WEEKEND and AFTERNOON )

 

 

This is essentially the same job as the overnight assistant (above), it may require only a few services of nutrition drinks, eye drops, other small tasks related to these other tasks, etc.

 

 

Rate $7.50 per hour.

 

 

 

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE and HOME HEALTH CAREGIVER

 

This position is for energetic and industrious applicants who are willing to handle the

Household activities, cleaning, organizing, gardening, repairs, etc.   This work is performed in two nearby households..  It includes the elderly care above.

 

This position is only for the very special applicant.

 

Rate $9.50 per hour.  Time is 10 hours to 20 hours per week, as agreed.

 

 

 

 

DAYTIME/MORNING HOME HEALTH CARE

 

This position is filled by one or more of the local agencies.

 

  We comply with Federal Law and deduct for withholding, SS and Med taxes.
